Pain and Panic

HOLY SHIT. A REAL UPDATE. O_O

And of course it's more Disney fanarts, because honest to god, you guys, I love Hercules... and I've always wanted to humanize these two and slash them up.

I just couldn't seem to nail a character design before now.

This is actually about a month or two old. It's been hanging out in my sketchbook for a while now, but I thought it was high time I finished it up. My creative spirit seems to be returning after being virtually beaten out of me since January. Fantastic. :]

What else... ahh. This piece turned out nothing like I imagined. Originally there was to be a background and some glowy effects (you know, like in the movie?)... now there's a lazy colouring job with little to no shading. Haha. Though I did enjoy some experimentation with new techniques, like textures. And colouring outside of my lines. Also, Panic was originally a blonde, but I decided turquoise hair looked nicer and sat better with the character. And I really don't know wtf is the deal with the wristcuff.... In my head, Pain has always been some kind of archaic punk kid. I guess.


THINK ABOUT IT, KIDS: It's only hot until you remember what they sound like.
